It gives me a great pleasure to write to you of my association with Al-Ibrahim Eye Hospital in general and ‘Isra Blindness Control Program’ in particular.
The selfless work being carried out at the hospital in Malir, is very commendable. I have had personal experience to send innumerable poor patients with various types of ophthalmological problem. Not only did their surgeries/ treatment were performed in a highly professional manner, but also the expertise of the staff was excellent and the post- operative care was also at par with any other first class eye hospitals in Karachi.
On my various visits to the facility, I have always seen a line of deprived and needy patients who are attended to and given necessary treatment without a fuss either at a totally free basis or highly subsidized rates.
Through this message, I would like to convey to my friends in Pakistan that this is an institution which deserves special attention and help every way one can, as it is providing a superlative service to the poor and needy patients and treating patients from as far as Khyber- Pakhtunkhwa.
I wish them well and would always be available to help this noble cause.
