These specialized programs provide ophthalmologists with an invaluable opportunity to delve deep into the world of vitreous and retina, honing their expertise in the diagnosis and management of various retinal conditions. VR Fellowship programs are meticulously designed to offer comprehensive exposure to the latest advancements in retinal imaging, laser techniques, and surgical interventions.
Amid the spectrum of post-fellowship programs in ophthalmology, Pediatric Ophthalmology Fellowship emerges as a crucial domain focused on the unique visual needs of children. Isra School of Optometry:
•) Isra School of Optometry is a Constituent Part of Isra University.
The institute offers a 4-year BSVS degree program which is cumulated by 4 years of course. The institute offers a comprehensive and specialized program of study in the world of optometry, which equips individuals with the knowledge and skills to become licensed optometrists. Throughout the degree program, students delve into subjects such as ocular anatomy and physiology, ocular diseases and pathology, ophthalmic optics, binocular vision, pharmacology, contact lens low vision and clinical skills. They gain a deep understanding of the intricate workings of the eyes and learn to perform comprehensive eye examinations, prescribe corrective lenses, provide vision therapy, and co-manage patients with other eye care professionals. The curriculum includes a blend of theoretical coursework, laboratory work, and clinical rotations, allowing students to develop both knowledge and practical expertise in diverse eye care settings. With their BS (Vision Sciences) degree in hand, graduates are well-prepared to enter the profession and make a meaningful impact on the vision health and well-being of their patients. The certificate is awarded by Isra University, at the successful completion of the fourth year of studies
Recognized by Sindh Medical Faculty Goverment of Sindh, Diploma in Ophthalmic Technician is a 2 year specialized program of study that focuses on the skills and knowledge required to assist ophthalmologists in providing eye care services.

Upon completion of a degree in Ophthalmic Technician, he’ll be equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to assist ophthalmologists in various clinical tasks, perform diagnostic tests, and provide patient care in eye care settings such as hospitals, clinics, and private practices.

The certificate is awarded by Sindh Medical Faculty, an independent body of Government of Sindh, at the successful completion of studies.
Diploma recognized by Isra University. This program is a two years course along with one year of field work. This entire program aims to provide a comprehensive education in optometry and refraction for those who opt for this program. This helps students in obtaining employment as an Ophthalmic Refractionist or Optician in various settings, including optometry clinics, ophthalmology practices, optical retail stores, and lens manufacturing companies.
